For aerial firefighting operators, Vellox systems can automatically share live flight tracking and operational data with external tools such as Firemapper. When aircraft are equipped with an ATU, this can include mission events like water or retardant fills, drops, products, and volumes—allowing firefighting agencies and coordination teams to see aircraft activity and suppression actions in near real time.
TracPlus is a provider of real-time aircraft tracking and operational intelligence for aerial firefighting and mission-critical operations. Firemapper integrates TracPlus aircraft location sources into our application to display live aircraft positions and improve operational coordination.

Built by firefighters, for firefighters, it brings real-time data, resource tracking, and operational visibility into a single view to support safer, more efficient response and post-incident analysis.
The integration creates a shared incident map directly from Tablet Command, where annotations made in FireMapper automatically sync and remain visible to all users in real time. This allows multiple responders to contribute updates from the field, ensuring everyone has access to the most current, accurate operational picture without additional setup or complexity.
