Portal Release Notes
Key Highlights in 2025
Forms: Available in the Portal and Mobile Apps, FireMapper Forms make it quick and simple to collect and view structured information on points, lines and areas in FireMapper, such as the data collected in damage assessments, pre-incident planning, risk assessments and environmental impact tracking.
Forms Dashboard: Built to work alongside FireMapper Forms, the Forms Dashboard is a reporting and visualisation tool where all form responses can be accessed in a single view, providing real-time stats and updates - useful in situations such as a damage assessment.
GeoTIFF Import: Viewable in the Portal and Enterprise mobile apps, multiple GeoTIFFs up to 1GB each can now be imported onto a Shared Map, visible in the Shared Overlays section of the Layer Side Bar. Useful for importing line scans, drone imagery and large static maps.
Activity Timeline: Viewable from the Portal, you can scroll through mapping activity and see the map as it looked at that point in time. Features will appear and disappear, depending on when they were added, updated, or deleted. A group of changes can also be selected for export or bulk deletes.
Single Sign-On (SSO): SSO is available for both the Portal and mobile apps, providing an integrated login experience that improves security. FireMapper can leverage Azure AD, Entra ID and other providers to handle integrated authentication - logging in without username/password or QR-code.
Map Token Activity Update: You can view the list of people who have accessed a specific Map Token. When anonymous people access the Map Token for the first time, they’ll be prompted to enter their first and last names. FireMapper also supports One Time Password authorisation with Map Tokens.
External location source sharing: FireMapper now supports integration with 3rd party location tracking providers, including Garmin InReach, TracPlus and SpiderTracks.
GeoPDF Import: Multiple GeoPDFs can be imported onto a Shared Map, visible in the Shared Overlays section of the Layer Side Bar on Portal and Enterprise mobile apps. Overlays are displayed on top of any selected Base Map, and can be toggled on and off, or deleted, via the Portal.
GeoPDF Export Editor: The GeoPDF Export Editor can be used to fully customise the map view and legend content, control which features to be displayed, and add custom text to the legend.
